Q1. Does AR series recording system need a PC to run?
A1. No, AR series recording system has a built-in CPU and hard drive, therefore it can be operated standalone without any PC. If you would like to monitor your recorded data, you can use a PC, LAN networking, or Internet to manage your recorded data.
Q2. Can AR series recording system distinguish which recorded data is from which station line?
A2. Yes, AR series recording system supports SMDR (Station Management Detail Recording) ports. Alone with any brand of SMDR machine, software will automatically record its origin station number and recorded data.
Q3. Is the data recorded by AR series recording system secured or has additional data encryption?
A3. Yes, all of the data recorded by AR series have encrypted for security purposes. The data won’t be playable if you only copy it from the system. The data needs special decoding player to run.
Q4. Besides LAN monitoring, is there any other way?
A4. Yes, not only you can do the LAN monitoring, you may also use Internet to do remote monitoring or simply use USB cable to connect to your PC/Laptop to do so.
